“WE PROCLAIM HIM, ADMONISHING AND TEACHING WITH ALL WISDOM SO WE CAN PRESENT EVERYONE PERFECT IN CHRIST.” COLOSSIANS 1:28
Module 5: Lesson 1
Review the Key Elements of Christian Yoga
In Module 2, we learned various ways to implement Scripture into class.
In Module 3, we learned how to apply Christian Meditation to our Christian yoga practice
In Module 4, we learned how to apply Prayer throughout our teachings.
In each lesson, we only used the presented concept (like scripture) to make an entire class. Now it is time to combine Scripture, Christian meditation, and prayer into one class.
Take Note: There are times when you do not add all three elements to your class. As illustrated in modules 2-4, it’s not necessary to make an impactful Christain yoga class. You can certainly just use one (or two) of the key elements. However, it’s important to know how to combine all three to make a great class easily.
We start with a recap from each Module on the key elements.
The Key Elements of Scriptural Use:
Select a Scripture. God Inspired, Personally Inspired, Visual Imagery, or Seasonal- all of which are on the Master List. Pair poses to scripture, in the entirety or shorten. Close the class with scripture.

Going Deeper:
Within each key element, there are countless possibilities in creating a class. Let’s bank on the possibilities as we move forward to the “into action” portion of this module.
Final Thoughts:
Let’s get ready to design our class outlines in lessons 2-5 of this module.
