“WE PROCLAIM HIM, ADMONISHING AND TEACHING WITH ALL WISDOM SO WE CAN PRESENT EVERYONE PERFECT IN CHRIST.” COLOSSIANS 1:28

Module 7 Lesson 3

Who is our ideal Avatar?

In this lesson, we discuss who our ideal student is for teaching Christian yoga.

Call to Action:

Listen to the video and take notes.

Write for Insight:

Where would you find your ideal student so you can target them? Examples could be social circles, church, work, referrals, social media.

Write down the characteristics of your ideal student. What is their age, financial status, lifestyle, career, and needs surrounding yoga? How can you serve and help this person by looking out for their interests?

Take time to pray this scripture and ask the Lord to show you your ideal student for teaching Christian yoga. How can you look out for their interests in needs?

Read Philippians 2:4 “Let each of you look not only to his own interests but also to the interests of others.”

Take Note: When you effectively serve your ideal avatar well, then you will have a loyal client who will continue to return to your classes time and time again. As an instructor, we want students who will consistently return for our services. It takes the guesswork out of having to try and fill classes, and it can create financial stability.

The truth is, there are many options today regarding where students can take classes. If you can’t hone in on who it is you serve, you will likely not have a consistent client base. When we serve wholeheartedly like we are working for Jesus (Ephesians 6:7), meeting a student’s needs will breed loyalty. This is how we build a strong client base.

Going Deeper

Knowing who you serve and teach can be a challenge. If you struggle in this area and need to build a plan to serve your ideal students better, schedule a 1:1 mentor call for further discussion.
